The presence of Asian Novellas in the Philippines is really the craze in every teen and not so old ones – the actors’ looks, songs, even the foods they cook and eat, and most especially the styles (actually even the anime hairdos is such a fad). So for our grannies, don’t get stunned of you would often see people down the streets having the hairs of San Goku, Yusuke, Kenshin Himura and all those anime characters we’ve seen on the television. The higher the hair stands the better for them so basically the Gel is very salable to comply with those hairstyles :). With regards to outfit, the Korean fashion was really the in thing here in the country, you can see most of the female who wear skirts with matching tights or leggings inside, then their tops is a combination of fit shirt and a spaghetti strap outside or the other way around. If it is not super fit then the super loose blouse that most often it can cover even your buttocks then paired with skinny jeans. If you really think about it, for me it was kind of weird combinations but then on, since it was the in thing nowadays you would also learn to appreciate its effect once you saw somebody who wears it and especially if they can carry it beautifully and wear it out like a celebrity.
By the way, to all those Young and Beautiful individuals not only in Asia but throughout the world can join this unique online Beauty contest. The winner will take $10,000 and might be able to work as a Model in New York, Milan, and Paris. So, if you think you’ve got what it takes to be the next Look of the Year, feel free to register and give your best shot! Goodluck guys!!

Way back before when I was still on my secondary schooling during our social studies subject, I was always amazed on how rich our country when it comes to raw materials and different food products, may it be crops and even manpower. It became a question to me as I grow older as to where are these products go and how come we still belong to a third world country when in fact we almost have everything that any country would want.
As we look today to what is happening to our country, the answer is basically in front of us. Philippines is always part of any international news and it is all about the corruption and power ———— of the people who are in the government. We can actually see rallies everyday and in every part of the country… total manipulation of those who are in power and the increasing number of poverty and chaos everywhere… It is not supposed to be like this! If only the wealth of our country is properly managed by the people in charge of it then we should really lead a good country. Can u just imagine even Japan, China, Korea and many other country in Asia acquires their raw material in the Philippines, like rice, banana, coconut and a lot more. It is a very thing that many Filipinos were also forced to work outside the Philippines in order to have a stable life for their families. why? because primarily our government cannot accommodate all of these people, there is always shortage of work opportunities here.. it really pisses me off when I start to think about what happened to my country, I love this place and I want this and I’m sure all Filipinos also want that our country would somehow prosper because with all of its nature, crops and everything ————— surely I can say that God gave us a beautiful place and it is supposedly up to us to nourish it.

Shiatsu is a Japanese massage technique that combines aspect of Chinese acupuncture and philosophy with body massage. I’m not really sure about the benefits and difference of other kinds of massage such as Thai and Swedish massage but what I’m certain about Shiatsu is that it will restore or maintain the proper flow and balance of vital energy in our body. Of all the types of massage, Shiatsu is my most preferred one and if I were to recommend a massage, of course this is the one I would suggest because unlike any other ordinary or shall I say normal whole-body massage, Shiatsu focuses on specific points, which are similar to the acupoints of acupuncture… and I can really feel the recovery deep inside me.. and I would never give-p my time to a spa and have a relaxing massage. I think I’m getting addicted to massage therapy now and I can say or if I may call this a vice of mine that I cannot avoid… then this is it! It is indeed my weakness! I noticed that my body is really longing to have a massage once or twice a month. I have tried seven of these massage services here in Davao: Asian Massage, Hair Zone Massage Spa, Blind Massage (I’m not sure what’s their name), Body Excellence, Spa 101, Touch N Heal and Body Bliss. Although Touch N Heal’s massage techniques are good enough plus they have excellent place and setting I still have my most preferred one – The Bodyexcellence. Though their setting is not as good as Touch N Heal’s or like that of in Hair Zone, their beads don’t even have holes (hahaha!). but still the way of their massage is what I’m after of. They actually do Shiatsu massage just like in others but I don’t know why only in Bodyexcellence I don’t feel any tickles hahaha. Hhhmm I just hope that I will feel better everyday and achieve healthier body since I’m having Shiatsu massage every month.

It is so ironic that our country is one of the richest in resources. We are so blessed with fertile land and raw materials… we have almost all of the essential products used for everyday living, in fact we are the ones who exports these product to other countries but why we are still not rising? The thing is, system here is always been being mismanaged plus the number of corrupt officials who do nothing but make a couple of mess here! Isn’t it so pathetically happening that we are the ones who export the resources to other countries and after their revamping process, they will sell it to us.. of course these will become an imported product and the price is doubly raised or even increased thrice! So you’ll see.. the resources are from us yet we suffer from buying expensive goods. Of course we often buy the imported items since it is of good quality compare to local products… but well that’s another story. Anyway, another thing that I most riled about in this poor country – the Philippines, the government does not have sufficient and proper coordination or shall I say programs for Filipino workers tendency is skilled Filipino workers are all going abroad to work, so it is other countries who are benefiting it the Filipino talents. If we only know how to manage and become a Business Lead nation I think we can improve this terrible condition of ours.

It is so distressing that more and more people in the Philippines are living in a squatter’s area. Actually the government is gradually resolving these squatter’s area concern by giving the affected households financial support and sufficient assistance for them to avail in housing projects from the government itself. But then ironically despite of all those housing assistance offered by the government still the people themselves still want to remain in such areas for reasons such as they cannot afford such housing loans or the relocation site is far-off from their work areas or from the city center which I find so crap. Everyone is dreaming to have his own house and lot so why not take the chance of acquiring housing development… after all its for your own benefit, I think it would be much better than getting those apartments for rent, right? For me, paying rental fee for your apartment is just a waste of money because you cannot get hold of that house in all of your payment, I think rent is just okay to students of if you are temporarily relocated in your job.
Well, if we are only like in the US situation it would be much beneficial to every citizen.. of course America is America and they are always standardized and superior. Even in purchasing a house or acquiring housing loans is not that complicated and difficult unlike here. In the Philippines, of course we can avail from PAG-IBIG but I still find it complex in their processing, and worse of all are through bank loans that interests will overthrow you! Anyways, the point is we must have our own, it is an essential thing for every human being so you must not let go of every opportunity that you can avail anyway there are several ways and means that will be of help to you such as mortgage refinancing and housing loans, even problems bank foreclosures can always have a way out.

Everybody here in the office, especially the guys were all asking as to who won in the fight of Felix Trinidad VS. Roy Jones Jr. I was kinda stunned ‘coz I haven’t heard of this fight.. geezz!!! I like Felix Trinidad and I was waiting for a long time since his last fight and this thing is just so disappointing ‘coz I don’t have any news about this and nobody ever told me about this… Maybe because everyone is just so focused and excited about the fight of Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez, or simply because I haven’t watched television these past few weeks. Anyways, when I checked on the internet about this fight I was really saddened when I found out that Trinidad lose. I wanted to make excuses for him, and I even justify some things like it wasn’t really his weight class, remember that Trinidad never fought for heavyweight, right? Hah I don’t know! Whatever!
Anyways, with regards to Pacquiao – Barrera fight, the whole Philippines and I’m pretty sure that Mexico too is very excited about this fight. I, myself is very eager to know who will this match, and so as anyone else… but I wonder if Neil Crespi is also peculiar about who will win the title of the real featherweight champion. I still don’t want to comment about this because I’m a pro-Pacquiao and if I’m going to give any statement about this fight this will absolutely in favor of Manny and I don’t want to establish any spark in advance (you know..BUYAG-BUYAG hehehe)

Oh yes! Philippine showbiz world has indeed a news blast to welcome the year 2008, and this is really the talk of the town – from the morning and night news, magazines, newspapers, tabloids, up to the weekend showbiz shows. This issue is like “selling hot cakes in the market”, you can hear it everywhere – the neighborhood, classrooms, offices, market, and even in elevator hahaha! It is the issue of Jennylyn Mercado’s unexpected pregnancy – the first Starstruck ultimate female survivor. There are so may issues linked about her pregnancy, mostly concern about her family and career, but regardless of all these things I admired Jen for not denying her situation, and especially Patrick Garcia for not leaving Jen and for being man enough to face his responsibilities. Actually, I like these two celebrities in their own style. Jennylyn for being beautiful inside and out, ad she’s very talented, in fact she and Katrina Halili are my bets during their Starstruck competition. And then Patrick… he’s such a good actor and hhhmm of course he’s cute hehehe! Actually before, Patrick has this “not so good image” – you know they say that he’s a snob and about the drugs issue. He was even addicted to online casino! Hhhmm I wonder which is Patrick’s favorite – poker, blackjack, or roulette?
But anyways, with all those stuff happened to Patrick, it was Jen who made him a changed man now – responsible, matured, and he’s trying to be a better person now for Jen and their baby. aaahhhyyy so sweet

Have you ever noticed in tropical countries such the Philippines, dust is so easy emerge… I just have this weird observation since I do some household cleaning constantly. Whenever I clean our house I always see to it that I also wipe our computer table, cabinets, and some wooden furniture… The next day I’m going to clean still the dust is so thick as if no one is cleaning our house and this thing is such an embarrassment to the visitors, right? and it really irritates me a lot to the point that I don’t feel like cleaning anymore for it’s still the same and you what you did is just useless. I just wish that weather here in the Philippines is the same as weather..you know..cold weather… maybe if we have same weather here I’m not having a problem like this. Anyways, I think people in tropical countries must have special vacuum cleaners more than those in non-tropical places. Cleaning a house is not a joke huh! and doing household chores is really a difficult job, and that’s why if we have Dyson vacuum cleaners in our household, it’ll really be a big help.

It’s so nice to spend time again at the farm… I remember those days when we were still young during our summer vacation, we spent most of our vacation days here at the farm. My grannies used to be so strict and protective every time we’re going to the spring and lakes. Lakes there are so clear and clean unlike the likes here in the city, water there is so refreshing and freezing cold especially on early mornings. Our life at the farm is so simple and a kind of primitive.. I remember before when nature calls, we’re not using our toilet for this instead we do it in grannies’ Cacao plantation and when we’re done we use this Cacao leaves to wipe our asses hahahahha.. I sound so yucky here now. hihihihihi

Holiday season has ended.. but for some, I mean most of us still have our hang-overs with our Christmas and New Year parties and celebrations. Now its time to fix ourselves –> (hey! try to remember all those fattening foods you’ve taken during those parties so let’s loose those extra pounds gained
); and then try to start cleaning our houses now.. I’m pretty sure that most of us has a lot of household chores to be done, and what is worse is that the housemaids is still on vacation hahaayyy!!! Well me, I just need to deliver my dirty laundries to nearby laundry shop. Last night when I got home from the farm I saw my room with so much scattered things, I can’t help myself but I just can’t fix my room these days as I am so busy with office matters and when we’re about to leave for Kidapawan I was really in a rush so I’m just “get this and get that and throw this and throw that” hahaha.. Anyways, hopefully by next, next month we can renovate our house so that means of course my room will get some renovation too! Hhmm I’ll make sure that I get Striped Bedding for my bed!
